Firesafe Design Ltd appointed as Safety Advisors
Firesafe Design Ltd successfully demonstrated the benefits of employing a safety advisor on a contract basis.
Comparative employment costs were reduced. No payment for sickness and leave. No pension payments. Training costs reduced (as the majority of training can now be carried out in house). Minimal administrative back up (as all reports and documents are prepared without using client staff).
Firesafe Design immediately implemented workplace audits, risk assessments and a company Policy Document was introduced. A staff handbook was produced and a formal safety committee set up. A procedure for the controlling of Contractors was also given priority.
Additionally, Firesafe Design identified and prioritised an in house safety training programme, to include: Fire Warden Training, Induction Training (to include basic health & Safety issues) and Display Screen Equipment.
An ongoing programme has now been established to ensure that Commerzbank AG maintain an efficient safety profile.
