Course Outline
This half day course covers the principles of fire prevention, legislation, fire alarms and behaviour. The practical element of the course gives students a chance to use portable extinguishers under professional instruction and gain confidence in tackling small scale fires.
Legislation
Enables organisations to satisfy general requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
FSD also offer a one day advanced fire warden course specifically designed for those fire wardens that in addition to evacuating premises are required to carryout general workplace inspections for fire safety.
